I met Junji Ito sensei in Septmeber 2007 at his home in a beautiful small town in Gifu prefecture. I'm sorry I don't remember the name of the place :( I must have written it down somewhere...)

So, anyways, Ito-san was gracious enough to pick us up (me and the interpreter) at the station. His wife and mother greeted us. They were feeding the baby who was not yet a year old at the time. We sat at the table for a while before heading upstairs to his studio where I started filming. A big thank you to Junji Ito for allowing me into his private space to film him.
